Improving the energy efficiency of our homes is central to reducing our energy use, which in turn reduces our bills and lowers our carbon emissions.
Across England, homeowners and landlords have six months to access funds to support making energy efficiency improvements, via the government’s Green Homes Grant scheme. You can apply for a voucher for up to £5,000 to cover up to two thirds of the cost of energy saving home improvements. Low income households can access up to 100% of funding up to a maximum of £10,000.
